Long sentence
I'm trying to write this sentence without using 'he'.
This is what I can come up with, but it's just too long and wordy.
Help appreciated. Thanks teachers.

May I ask why you have placed such a restriction on yourself? In a certain academic writing style, your sentence is not overly long and wordy. The bigger problem is that it is not actually structurally correct.

In a certain academic writing style, your sentence is not overly long and wordy. The bigger problem is that it is not actually structurally correct.
