Long sentence

Hello again. I'm the owner of the recent post titled "Long sentence" and read about how it helps to be not anonymous when you need your grammar questions answered. So, I signed up. I don't know if it will be answered but here's my question again. I had to translate a long sentence and it ended up being something like this:
"Our company employs in different positions the applicants with strong social skills, open minds, focus on improvement and efficiency, competitive character and a strong belief in the value of teamwork."
This noun is so long that I don't think I can put it right after the verb as it should be. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

I think your sentence just needs the elimination of some unnecessary verbiage: Our company employs applicants with strong social skills, competitiveness, open minds, a focus on improvement and efficiency, and a strong belief in the value of teamwork .

Our company employs applicants with strong social skills, competitiveness, open minds, a focus on improvement and efficiency, and a strong belief in the value of teamwork.

Thanks but if I had to mention employment in different positions in the same sentence, if that part of the sentence was indispensable, would we be able to keep it somehow?

It is dispensable; it is redundant. You do not employ applicants 'in the same positions'. Delete it.

Thanks again. Translation can be such a bother. I'd never try to keep it if I was simply writing an English sentence on my own. But again it is only logical to delete it. I'm sure they'll understand.
