Lol or LOL

1- Sometimes you can use lol or LOL to mean you are laughing out loud there.
2- Sometimes you can use either lol or LOL to mean you are laughing out loud there.

Does "either" make any change in meaning? I wouldn't think so. Would you?

in either one you take the first letter from each word.
When capitalized, it forms a kind of acronym (NASA, FBI, ASAP and such...)
When not capitalized, you give it the identity of a noun.
As it's much used in chat rooms, I guess "lol" is faster to write...

I am not sure she puts but it's rather possible. For instance, when you come to a shop the seller will probably tell you first about the products which will be most possibly sold or the most suitable ones for you, don't you think so.

Lol... i don't think that I have seen this often...

"lol" is the fast typed version. And by usage, I would say that the LOL version would be "louder" than the lol one.

It is what I have observed in years of mIRC ICQ and MSN chatting
