Log

Hi.

Can I use "log" (noun) to refer to a record of customer complaints? I just checked several dictionaries and they specify that "log" is a record of events, a journey, or a machine's performance. I thought the word applied to a lot more categories than those.

Thanks.

Yes, you could use it for that, too. The main characteristic of a log is that it is an ongoing record which one or more persons enter information into.
