Locker

Hi,

I read about a hotel that claims it has a locker box in each room. Is "locker box" an acceptable term, or should it be just locker? Or is it the same as a safe deposit box? It's not in standard dictionaries.

Thanks.

I'd try to get a picture of it. "Locker" evokes the locker room, or at least a number of lockers to serve a number of people. This sounds like a special kind of "safe," which calls for a special name.

Thanks, Avangi. Unfortunately there's no picture. Perhaps they do mean a lock box.

It's a simple hotel, so maybe it is a lock box (also my first time to hear that term). Thanks, JohnParis!
