"Located in" versus "in" - Is one redundant?

I am writing captions for pictures and am wondering whether the word "located" is redundant in this sentence format - "Brook Haven is a 63-unit multifamily housing development located in Huntsville, Alabama". Can't you just say "Brook Haven is a 63-unit multifamily housing development in Huntsville, Alabama"? I have about 100 pictures to label and am not sure which one to use!
