Local network charge abbreviation

hello all!

is there a way to abbreviate "local network charge" in English. This phrase frequently occurs in phone services contexts and would be nice to find something shorter for it. Does 'LNC' mean anything to native or other English speakers?

Actually it's just the fee for use of the telephone line which varies by operator. So basically you could call it 'the fee charged by the operator for use of the telephone line'.

Here 'local network charge' would be the fee charged by the telephone operator in addition (and unrelated) to the service charge collected by e.g. a

Your phrase is probably the most appropriate then. They may be referred to as "long distance charges" or "tolls" by laymen.
