Live up to his name

Hi,

Would anyone explain the meaning of "live up to his name" in the following context? I looked up on an online dictionary, which just defines the meanings of "live up to" but I am not sure I understand.

However, Mr. Rock lives up to his name and opposes the agency plan. Instead, he insists that his seven-year-old son Timmy should appear in the ads and sell his metal buildings.
