is it correct to say the comparison of little (littler ) ?

I don't know that you hear it very often, but it would not be considered wrong.

There seem to be diverse opinions about this on both sides of the Atlantic. There is a thread at http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=235781 in which someone from the UK says, of "littler" and "littlest", that they "are indeed 'proper' words, and are quite common, at least in Britain", while someone from the US says they are "cute" words (which is roughly my viewpoint). There is also a quote from the OED: "some writers have ventured to employ the unrecognized forms littler, littlest, which are otherwise confined to dialect or imitations of childish or illiterate speech."

Note, by the way to the original poster:

If you use it like this: He had little patience or She had little money
Then you cannot use "littler."

I do think it's a cute word. But I like cute!
