Little Lightening Bug
Go! little lightening bug,
Of the night.
Find your mate.
Out in the cool,
Of the twilight gray.
Where you will find.
Hey! Why wont she stay!
Tell her to wait,
You are now on your way.
With your wee lantern,
Now off,
Now on.
Following your lady,
Over our lawn.
Sitting here in the cool,
And the dim.
I Love to watch your,
Little light.
Thinking out loud,
More power to him.
Little browne bug,
with your lantern cold,
You baffed the scientist's,
I've been told.
Your hoveris beat,
You bright little bug.
I hope that your lady,
will give you a hug.
It would be nice,
If beings like me.
Could have such a light,
To help them to see.
