Little -few

Hello,

1. I have little money.

The presence of the determiner 'little' make the above clause a negative one.

Is the statement true?

The above sentence requires a positive tag question.

A. I have little money, do I?

Is 'A' correct ?

Thanks.

hanuman_2000 The presence of the determiner 'little' make the above clause a negative one. I would not say that. 'little' gives the sentence "negative polarity"; it doesn't make it negative.
