Hi im little confused about it..
(Many vehicles are available for the means of transportation)
or
(Many vehicles are available as means of transportation)

Both of them sound odd to me. Did you mean vehicles to be used for transportation? It would be better to say something like that: "Many vehicles are avaliable in the capacity of transportation".

You could just simplify it to "Many vehicles are available for transport".

As for your sentences, "Many vehicles are available as a means of transportation" would sound the most correct using your wording.

And Fandorin, sorry but your sentence doesn't make much sense. I don't think transportation can be a "capacity".

Here's a sentence that may make some sense to you
"Many vehicles for the transportation (of tourists) are fully (without any shortage) available in this remote area"

above line is what I wanted to say, this way it is expressive but not yet making sense.
