So I've been having a debate with a friend. Is it correct to say, "Me and Dave went to the park." I think that you cannot use "me" as a pronoun to start the sentence, because if Dave wasn't there you'd be saying, "me went to the park". Therefore you would have to say "Dave and I went to the park." What is the rule here?
