This essay will discuss causes and effects of global warming, and also propose a solution that can slow down the warming of the planet.

Global warming is largely caused by human activities, it presents a serious threat to the well-being of nature people. The major cause is pollution from industries, factories and cars produce a number of gases like carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. Another significant reason is the population growth, humans emit gases every day, especially methane – a gas that retains heat the most. Therefore, they cause a large hole to form the ozone layer to allow ultraviolet rays to come through.

Global warming affects the existence of nature and all creatures on Earth including human beings. Not only the ultraviolet rays lead to increasing cases of skin cancer, but it also impacts rising temperature. Weather patterns are changing to be more draconic on a daily basis. Natural disasters such as drought, floods and fires would happen frequently and are extremely severe, even causing a catastrophe like La Nina and El Nino.

Despite these consequences, people ought to take steps to slow the effects of global warming. Since emissions are the major cause, new technologies should be innovated, cars will use hydrogen as fuel instead of fossil fuels, then these emit only pure water. Moreover, renewable energy sources as wind, water and solar power are also good alternatives because they do not release harmful emissions into the atmosphere.

All things considered, is caused by human activities and affects all living beings on Earth. However, it can be reduced if people change their habits and apply the solution, in this way, nature will be preserved.
