list of reference(s)?

Dear All,

Could you please have a look at this email?
Should there be a question mark at the end of the highlighted sentence? Are there any mistakes here?
I know this person quite well. He doesn't mind the casual tone.

Hi Bob

How have you been lately? Hope life has been treating you well.

I would like to ask if I may add your name and contact information to my list of references? I am applying for a history teaching position in a large international school, and I would be grateful for your support should they need to contact you.

Also, not sure if you have a tight schedule these days, but perhaps I could swing by your office on one of the not-too-busy days?

All the best,

XYZ

Perfect Stranger Should there be a question mark at the end of the highlighted sentence? No; it is an indirect question. The last sentence is not a question, either.

Thanks MM. I think that I should have kept it semi-formal or semi-casual. That thought came to me a bit too late though.
