List of idioms and expressions

hello everyone,i've got a book with usefull expressions,i'd like to share it with u.i'll start from first lesson,if u liked it,plz tell me and i'll keep uploding other lessons for u,or if u wanted to know the sentences which are more usefull in some position tell me and i'll just up the lesson of that position.

Does your book give any more details about when and where such expressions are appropriate?

eg It is a very bad idea to walk into a job interview room and say 'Hey,dudes'.

thank you for your checking and reading my post carefully.

about the first point you already mentioned I should answer that I'll never use the abbreviations anymore in my posts and watch the capitalization.

but about the second point I didn't really got the point!you said the examples contains lots and lots of errors (?!?)

unfortunetly no!it doesn't contains any details about it and I don't have any idea about how to explain the position!

I thought the examples would've been enough!

Umm... Is it "I haven't seen you for ages" or "I haven't seen you in ages"? I've always thought it was "I've always seen you in ages".

By the way, saying "Hello, dudes" could be really funny.

I would say "in ages," but "for ages" is acceptable. The reply, however, should be

"It's been a long time, hasn't it?"

Ferri, I'd have to say that without any explanation or context these expressions are not all that useful. For example,
