What is the correct spelling of the expression of Lip-sync or Lip-synch?

My feeling is (or was) that "synch/synching" was originally viewed as more technically correct, but nowadays "sync/syncing" is becoming more the norm. t1%3B%2Clip%20-%20synch%3B%2Cc0 * though I guess we should also start noticing that the graphs end at 2000, which is becoming more and more of a long time ago.
