Hi, can you help me with this extract? It belongs to a book on linguistics. I have to analize the meaning of the underlined words, and I find it difficult to realize what the author means:

"Slightly more interesting is the fact that a sentence can frame an event, affecting the way that people construe it, in addition to simply conveying who did what to whom.
