Can I write:

(a) The pupils line up to buy foods.
(b) We need to line to buy foods.
(c) They line / line up and buy foods.
(d) The students line at the canteen to buy food.
(e) They line to buy food.
(f) They stand in a line / in line to buy food.

P/s:I'm not sure whether to use "food" or "foods", can you explain? Thanks.
