The chart shows the average daily viewing figures for Channel One News over a 12-month period. The line graph illurstrates the average number of viewers watching channel one news in a year.As can be seen from the chart, the trend of the figure for viewers greatly differs over the time frame.The quantity of viewers at 6pm ranks first compared to that of 1pm remains relatively unchanged .In January , the figure for viewers at 6pm stands at nearly 5 millions people.After having some fluctuations between March and September , this figure goes down to more than 3 millions people at the end of the year.In another time for watching ,9.30pm is reported to stay at more than 3 millions viewers in January. This figure then climbs slightly to almost 4 millions people in May.But the course from May to August underwents a steep downward trend to 1 million people .Later, it went up dramatically to 3 million people in December.The 11pm news brought into this graph in May,starting from nearly 0 viewers and then reach a peak of 4 millions people in August .But this does not last long , there is a fast increase to nearly 1 million viewers in December.( questions :-Is the word " underwents" used correctly in this case ? .- I have to use Simple tense right ?-How can i make some comparisions in this essay ?)Thank you for reading ! You make a lot of spacing errors. A space comes after a punctuation mark. You must put a space after a number like 1 (space here) pm. There are so many spacing errors that I can't give feedback on the other problems. You need to be consistent in the verb tenses. If you choose past tense, keep using past tense. If you choose present tense, keep using present tense.

The base verb is "go" with the prefix "under." Under + go = undergo.

"Go" is irregular. The forms are go, going, went, gone. Just add the prefix to these forms.

For graphs using time, you have to choose one tense: past or present. Do not mix them up in your essay. Use one or the other consistently.

I strongly recommendation the past tense in this essay because this is not a typical year, it is a specific year. This year is in that past, so use past tense. If it were a plot that had data averaged over many years, the present tense would work ok.

Past tense:

Channel One News had a total of between 8 and 9 million viewers throughout the year. In January, five million watched the 6 pm news broadcast, with a little over 3 million for the late news at 9:30 pm and about 1.2 million for the midday news at 1 pm.
