The line graph illustrate the proportion of the population internet users in 3 different countries namely USA, Canada, and Mexico between 1999 to 2009.
At first glance, it appears that the percentage of people using the internet increased steeply. It is noticeable that the USA and Canada experienced risen faster than Mexico trend over period of 10 years.
In 1999, the proportion of the population internet users in USA was about 20%. The figure for Canada and Mexico were lower than that , at around 10% and 5%, respectively. When it comes to 2005. in 3 different countries had a negligible increased. Internet users in both the USA and Canada rose to 70%, whereas the figures for Mexico reached only 25%.
In 2009, the most dramatic change was seen in Canada. The proportion of people using the internet in Canada led the way with 100%, which was followed by the USA, at bout 80%. And at the last bottom position was the Internet users in Mexico, which was only 40%.
