The line chart illustrates the proportion of visitors to England who went to four different tourist attractions in Brighton from 1980 to 2010.

Overall, it is clear that the rate of tourists to Art Gallery and Festival decreased throughout the period shown. However, the number of visittors to Pavilion and Pier increased slightly.

In the first 5 year stage, the proportion off visitor to Pavillion had risen gradually from about 24% in 1980 to about 28% in 1985 before reaching a peak at 50% in 1995. Howeve, this figure fell significantly in the rest of the period about 30% in 2010.

Starting at over 20% in 1980, the percentage of people who went to Art Gallery increased considerably to approximately 40% in the next 5 year period. This number fell back to the 1980 level in 1990 followed by a fluctuating decrease to under 10% in 2010.

Turn to the number visting Pier, there were eratic through the 30 year period at about 10% in 1980 and about 22% in 2010. From 1980 to 2010, there were minor fluctuations in the number of visitor who came to Festival remained stably at around 30% over the period.
