Well, this is a good question. I think the problem might be that some non-native speakers (or even native speakers) may not understand non-standard speech. After all, this is why there is such a thing as Standard English.

Yes and no.

The vocabulary of science really belongs to standard English. It was developed by educated people as part of standard English. Even so, there is no reason why the vocabulary should not be employed when speaking non-standard English, but what you would be doing is to graft part of standard English onto the non-standard.
