Like what I saw

Which are correct:

1) I don't want to see homework like I saw last week. From now on you have to do a better job.

2) I don't want to see homework like the homework I saw last week. From now on you have to do a better job.

3) I don't want to see homework like what I saw last week. From now on you have to do a better job.

I think the 'what' in '3' makes things a bit vague, but does it make the sentence incorrect?

'2' is probably too wordy, but seems clear.

I am not sure about '1' either.

Gratefully,
Navi.

(3) does not seem like very good English to me (though it does not seem vague; the intended meaning seems clear enough). (1) and (2) are OK.
