I can't fugure out what is exact meaning of "Like I knew you would". Any suggestions?

Here are a couple of examples:

You did well on the test. Just like I knew you would.

(I knew that you would do well on the test.)

You worked much too hard and got sick. Just like I knew you would.

(I knew that you would get sick.)
