Light wakes me up

help write correct

You wake up during the night, but then you go back to bed and fall asleep just as soon, but if I turn the lights on, the light wakes me up for good.

The light will wake me up, so I don't turn it on when I wake up in the middle of the night to get something in the fridge.
There is no going back to sleep once the light are turned on. They wake me up.
