What do we call the very light hair(s) on our forehead or a baby’s arms, etc? Down? And that thingummy that appears on our shirts, sweaters is called fluff, I think?
Please let me know if there are better words.
Are these natural?
After the first wash, her expensive shirt was covered in fluff. Sitting behind her son, she could see his nape was full of down.
Thanks,
Tom

Down and fluff are fine, PS - either word is fine here.
