Lift floors/ lifts floors

I have two lifts in my workplace, and I would like to know if I should say the lifts floors or just keep the lift singular. Also can you help me improve the sentences

Orange Apple have started replacing the lift floors in the building. As a result one of the lifts will be out of service this morning so that they can carry out these works. Please note that these works will last for two work days.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused

In the US where we use the word "elevator", I would use the singular, "elevator floors". So it's probably "lift", but obviously a UK response is going to be more authoritative.
