It appears that there are two separate sets of data being "related".
One set concerns "past-year, self-reported" violence, and the other concerns "lifetime, court-recorded violence."
"Past-year self-reported" means that the patient himself reported acts of violence committed over the past 365 days. "Lifetime court-recorded violence" means that the violence was officially reported in court documents over the patient's lifetime.
