Life is never ideal.

Can you please correct the answer starting with first? Thank you.

Between someone makes you feel secure, always be there for you when you fall, never give up on you; and someone who encourages you to be daring, to try your best without fear, to explore the world? I know ideally it would be the combination of those two. But life is never ideal.

First, I think life can be ideal but you have to work for it..God won't give a person everything for free. But ideality is a subjective term. Your definition of it will certainly be different from mine or anyone else's. So this area is not really up for debate.....

Second, I cant see why the 2 characteristics you described above have to be mutually exclusive. I was also looking for someone who always encourages me to be at the forefront, one who appreciates my qualities, believes in my ambitions, and kindles my motivations. And by being all those, the person automatically gives you the security and confidence you need to endure this life. And of course your partner would always be there for you when you encounter challenges or failures. That boat needs two sailors One down and it won't sail so it's naturally one's responsibility to become that mental and emotional cushion for the other. See how one can possess both qualities?

Honestly, life can be so dispiriting and daunting at times that we all need and deserve that one person who can lift and push us through those hurdles. I hope you find one of your own
