I would say that the first suggests to me an entire life without cell phones i.e. never having a cell phone in your life.

The second makes me think of day to day living - your lifestyle.

I would say they are different.

I can't say that 3 is wrong, but I'm struggling to think of a situation where I would use it.
Maybe if you had previously mentioned some peoples lives
