Lie on your side

Hi

Could you please help me with the following sentences? Are they natural?

(Doctor to a patient who is lying on his back/ lying supine)

  1. Could you be on your (left/right) side?
  2. Will you lie on your side please?
  3. Will you turn over please?
  4. Could you lie prone please?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi

Those are interesting

1. Could you turn onto your left side please?

2. (Yes, that's OK)

3. (And this is OK)

4. I don't think a doctor would say this because many people - including me - don't know or can't remember the difference between prone and supine, so: please could you lie face down now.

Hope this helps, Dave
