Lexical auxiliary

What is a lexical auxiliary? Has it something to do with catenatives? My try:  I forgot to go to the shopping.
Is 'forgot' the lexical auxiliary?
Thanks

That's an unusual term. I don't think most people use it. It means semi-modal (or semi-auxiliary). Ex: have to.
