Would somebody please help me with the English?
Dear Prof N,
My name is Fizzi, a PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. X from the M research center. For your information,I am planning to do a study on the (title of a study) as part of my PhD thesis. The study will be a comparative one between (country 1) and (country 2), and it may take place in the middle of this year.
In this study, we will evaluate the availability of information on product information such as indications, adverse effects, treatment duration, precautions. Research articles and promotional materials given to doctors to support their claims will be asessed.Also, doctors will be asked to record and judge claims made by sales representatives .
As you are an expert in studies involving doctors, I would like to get your comments on the methodology such as the best way to recruite doctors in (country 1) and issues with informed consent. If that is all right with you, Would it be possible for me to see you sometime next week? Dr X, will accompany me during the meeting.You can suggest a few time when you are free.
