You recently attended a conference and you would like to give a presentation in your office about the information you gained by attending the conference.
Write a letter to your manager asking for permission to give a presentation. In your letter:
Dear Mr. Chris Johns,
I am writing this letter to seek your permission for giving a presentation in which I would like to share the knowledge I have gained in the seminar of investments in stock market.
In that conference, the instructor had shared two presentations which also include a video of five minutes. The same slides will be shared as they are comprehensive enough to convey the message.
The presentation will take approximately two hours, and it is composed of three topics. These three topics are: Why people should invest in stocks? What are the other investment avenues? Is there any tax benefit on investment? Many people do not know the answer of these basic questions and end up with poor returns on their savings.
Our department of research and portfolio management should participate so that they can have better idea of investments. It will be conducted in the board room because all the other rooms will be occupied on Monday, 5th June 2019.
I hope you will allow me and look forward to hearing back from you.
Yours sincerely,
Wilson Maxwell
