- Explain the why the centre is important for the local community.
- Describe the possible effects on local people if the centre closed.
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is John Wilson, and I am a resident of Cavalry Street. I am writing this letter to show the concern on closing the leisure club which is located in our area.
Many people use this club daily with their families, including children of different ages. My younger brother goes to gym for exercise, whereas my elder sister plays table tennis in this centre. Apart from this, our numerous relatives use its ground for playing hockey.
This centre plays a pivotal role in keeping the people healthy as almost everyone in this area uses it for various exercises and games. Moreover, many children have been selected in our national teams of table tennis and hockey, which itself gives a proud feeling.
If you close this centre for saving money, many people will suffer in terms of health as their physical activities will be reduced considerably. Additionally, our national teams of various sports will be deprived of young talented players.
You are requested to reconsider your decision and consider the overall aspects of this decision.
Yours faithfully,
John Wilson
