Letter writing

Dear all,

Is it poor grammar to reuse someones name within the same letter? For example within the letter you want to emphasise that something should be done. eg "Edward, I would be grateful if you would contact me if......."

many thanks

Hi, It's really just a matter of style. I wouldn't do this in a business letter. In a personal letter, I wouldn't do it a lot.
