Letter to prof. is this grammatically correct?

Dear Dr...,
I did not give explanation because I thought you wanted to see the graphical results. That is what I assumed when you told me to send the experimental results as presentation file. I would like to sit with you to explain, at my best, what I have done. What time is best for you?
