Letter to neighbour about noise nuisance

Hi everyone,

I'm writing a letter to a neighbour regarding a noise nuisance. It's a sensitive letter and I've been thinking hard about the words to use. I managed to come up with something, but find that I'm not comfortable yet to send it out. I feel the portion in blue below is a bit 'harsh' and can possibly be written in a 'softer' tone -- maybe I just don't have the words to say it right... Would really appreciate your suggestions. I'm sorry to have to ask for your help again as we are having problems bearing with the sounds of your current birds. My family would appreciate you cutting down the noise level of your birds as it is causing much disturbance and distress on our daily lives.
