Letter to DA to reduce my speeding ticket HELP! Draft included
Here is draft of my letter , i was wondering what format i should and where i should have my address for the return. Read and any suggestions help thanks guys.
To Whom It May Concern:
I received a ticket in the city of Auburn on July 7, 2009. I was on the arterial on my way to work at the Port Byron Diner when I was stopped for doing 55 in a 40. Please understand that it is not a habit of mine to speed, being a bit preoccupied with trying to make it to work on time I had thought I hit the part of the arterial where the speed limit increased to 55, obviously I was mistaken. But I do know that I broke the law and what I did was wrong and I am certain it won't happen again. It is my first mark on my license, I am a young driver and my parents are gracious enough to put me on their insurance. What this ticket will do to the insurance is something that I cannot afford. I am currently working at the Port Byron diner and on the side I am roofing, I need my license to get back and forth to both of these jobs, if I lose it I will not be able to make my car payments. If there is anything that can be done on this matter it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to look at my situation.

Well , since i just recently got my license im on a 6 month probation if get a violation of 4 points or more it gets revoked for 60 days. And thank you for the help.
