Letter Writing

Letter to an attorney (Guest:Stormin)

When addressing a letter to an attorney, is one supposed to abbreviate his profession like 'Mr. John Leagle, Att.'

If you can help, similarly is the situation the same in Spanish 'Sr. John Leagle, ?' (Spanish for attorney is Abogado and, possibly, Licenciado'

As they say: if I don't ask I don't get!
But thank you for any help,
Stormin

Hey Stormin, I can't give you a definitive answer to this, but if you're in doubt don't abbreviate. It's safer, and less likely to be considered rude.
