Letter to a new friend

This is Shannie, we met on the flight from LAX to Incheon, Seoul about a week ago. I didn't expect you to give me your real email address, because you said you had a girlfriend and seemed a bit unsure of giving out your contact information, which was totally reasonable. But I thought that I should give it a shot anyway, so I emailed you with my yahoo account that I use for shopping. I was afraid that if it didn't reach you I would start getting spam and junk mail, so I was pleasantly surprised by your email and am very happy that you've decided to keep in touch. It's always nice to meet new people and to make new friends whilst traveling, as it's one of the great opportunities when you're flying around the globe.
