Letter to a judge for my fiancé

He's due in court soon for common assault and possession of weapon in a public place . His soliciter thinks he's looking at two years .theres a back story to the offence he didn't just commit with out what he thought was due reason his mother told him she had been raped by her sisters partner and she kept repeatly ringing him up drunk telling him about it and he was obviously very upset he went around his auntys house to confront her bf about it and he wasn't there he had an argument with his aunty she grabbed him so he pushed her off him . That's the common assault .she alledges that he threatened her with a knife although he was in possession of one I have no doubt that this didn't happen but he has to plead guilty to it because his soliciter says if he doesn't and it goes to a Newton hearing he could end up with a bigger sentence than if he just goes guilty . The offensive is out of character for my partner we've been together almost 3 years and he has been a fantastic step father to my 4 children one of whom is disabled . And we have a 3 week old baby together .its not just him a long sentence affects it's the family he's left behind , he will be a complete stranger to his son he already missed the birth . He was Hard working and the sole provider for our family obviously it's financially and emotionally distressing . . There's always been conflict between his whole family they all have serious issues it turns out his mom made the rape allegation up anyway her sisters boyfriend tried to kiss her and that was all that happened . He doesn't deserve to be in prison he thought he was sticking up for his mom .he can't get his head around how can his mom lie about something so serious and how can his aunty whom they grew up like brother and sister can lie about such a serious thing that impacts our lives so much . I'm not sure what I'm supposed to write ?????
