Letter Writing

letter to a judge

Hi . i need to write a letter to a judge about a problem i've been having since her ruling. she granted joint custody of my son and he resides with his fathers parents. I need to amend the order so that he will stay with me. I need to inform the judge that they aren't allowing me to see or talk to him until i pick him up from school on fridays. If anyone could please help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I advise you not to wait for replies from this forum, Anonymous. For one thing, we don't know which country you are in, and for another, anybody qualified to give legal advice would want more information, dates and details. So would the judge, if you live somewhere where you can actually write to her.

  • You need to consult your local relevant authority or a lawyer.
  • Failing that, the standard of your English suggests that you are capable of expressing yourself well enough to put your request into a letter - remembering to capitalise ' I' at all times and ' F ridays' .
