You need to do more physical exercise. Write a letter to your friend asking him to join you. Say:
Dear John,
I hope you’re doing well. Apologies for not writing you earlier. I’m writing this letter to inform you that I will be starting daily physical exercise and want you to accompany me.
Dr. Smith has recommended me to do exercise because of increasing weight as a result of rising cholesterol. Sedentary lifestyle and improper eating habits have caused higher cholesterol in my body due to which I’m suffering from breathing problem.
I’ve made weekly plan in which we will do walk and cycling in the early morning. This will burn our calories to a great extent and reduce our weight substantially. I don’t want to go to a gym for weight-lifting because of higher annual fees and long distance from our home.
The reason I’m asking you to join is that it is beneficial for health. Although it will not reduce your weight substantially in initial days, your stress will be reduced significantly. You’ll remain fit and active once you start the exercise.
Take care and write back soon.
Chris
