Letter to a friend - career advice

You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
· say why he/she would not enjoy going to college
· explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her
· suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her Hi Anthony,
I'm writing this letter in reply to your letter in which you asked for my advice on whether you should opt to a job or further education.
I think you must not go to college as it would be boring for you. You've already studied many courses on marketing, and there won't be anything new if you decide to do master's in marketing.
If you choose to do a job, you'll gain experience that may help you to achieve your aim together with earning money. Your family situation also does not allow you to go to university. Moreover, today a lot of employers prefer experienced candidates than ones who are more qualified.
There are numerous employment opportunities which you can opt. For example, you can join the sales and marketing department of any company as your interpersonal skills are great.
Let me know if you need any further assistance in this regard.
Take care,
Ricky
