Letter opening and ending
i would like to specifically ask what kind of ending i should use if i am opening my letter (reference letter) with:
To the ***-Admissions' Committee, (is this opening ok if refers to a group of people, whose names i do not know?)
.... (do i use capital for the start of my first paragraph?)
With regards,
or
Cordially,
or traditionally Yours faithfully (or sincerely since i name the committee),
?
(the letter is addressed to a University in the UK)

Dear Friend, Some of the opening and closing lines are : Dear Sir, Dear Madam, Dear Sir/Madam.... Yours sincerely, yours faithfully,.... I suppose the combination to be followed is : * If Dear Sir/Madam is used and you are SURE of the member you are referring then the ending has to be Your's sincerely.
