Letter Writing

Letter on behalf of a teacher

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble writing a letter on behalf of my teacher. I don't know how to start and don't know the format of it. I just know she 's the best teacher ever but since i'm ESL is hard for me to express myself. Also I want to do it as formal as possible.
Thank you very much for your help!

Hey Alex,

Thank you so much for your help. I will follow your format for sure.

Since I don't know the name of the person who will recieve it.

I just know the department I have to send it.

so is it "Mrs" by itself appropriate? or should I say, To whom it may concern.

I know this is ver

What is the purpose of writing the letter? An award nomination? You could write "To the members of Teacher of the Year Award judging committee" or something like that.

Don't use "Mrs." if you don't know who will read it. Not only do we not just use titles by themselves without names, but the person reading it may be a Miss or Mr.!

Thanks!

Yeah, it is an award nomination.
Thanks again. I guess I'll do that.
