Letter of requesting a study tour

Hello, im here to show you my letter about requesting a study tour to university at Singapore. Im not sure whether am i writing in a manner way.

Dear Madam/ Sir

I am writing you to request a visit to your University.

I am Foo Jia Le, secretary of an organization which is Singapore On Site which held by students from XXX University, Malaysia. Based on the subject that we are studying in foundation, which is public relations, we are asked to organize a study tour to top university in Singapore.

We are very interested in visiting your university based on the courses that available from your university especially, Engineering and IT.

There are 15 students and 2 lecturers from XXX University are joining for this study tour to Singapore at 22 August 2013.

I am looking forward to receiving your response.
