Letter of recommendation
Hi everyone, I asked my prof to give me a recommendation letter and he asked me to write it by myself..could you give me some comments on my recommendation letter please. I had bachelor in Automation Engineering, i wanted to pursue master degree in this major..thanks a lot in advance for your help
As a head of automatic control department of [University], I am pleased to recommend [full name], one of my best students in years, to ………………………. I have known [name] since his fourth year, when he attended two courses of mine in Advanced Control Theory.
In a short space of time, it became clear that [name] is a very capable person. He has always shown curiosity and eager to learn. I remember [name] was an outstanding student who is diligent, serious, great analytical and very good critical learning skills. He always completed all exercises that I given to, tried to found out others material for getting more knowledge and always discuss with me about issue and his ideas. I gave him the highest marks in two courses that I taught.
Moreover, he is very enthusiastic dynamic individual and good leader skills. As a result, he became a monitor in Automatic Control Talent engineering class of Gift Centre, which is special program in our university.
As I known from him, I put him among top 5% of undergraduates I have ever taught during my 20 years in [University]. I hope and believe he will be selected to your program. If you have any questions regarding this recommendation, please do not hesitate to contact me.
